Odessa Woman Arrested, Charged in Stabbing 7/5/13
ODESSA - On July, 4, 2013, at approximately 1908 hours, officers with the Odessa Police Department responded to a call of a stab victim at the intersection of 28th and Ventura. Officers also responded to 3630 Archuleta to a person reporting the stabbing.
Upon arrival on Ventura, officers located a female identified as Teresa Rodriguez, 21 years of age. Rodriguez had been stabbed multiple times suffering injuries to the chest, right eye and left arm. Rodriguez reported to police that the assault occurred in the 2800 block of Langtry by a person known to her who was later identified as Marlyana Antillon. Rodriguez was transported to Medical Center Hospital where she underwent surgery for her injuries.
Officers at 3630 Archuleta contacted and detained Marlyana Antillon. Investigator with the Crimes Against Persons Unit responded to continue the investigation. Antillon was transported to the Odessa Police Department where she was interviewed and confessed to stabbing Rodriguez. Antillon was charged accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
