CBS 7 News
This week's Sunday’s Child features a brother and sister. They’ve been in foster care for two years and they need a loving family to take them in.
A game of bowling was a perfect way to spend the afternoon with 15-year-old Lee and his big sister 17-year-old Carly. Both are sweet kids with some typical teenaged hobbies.
Carly says, “I like to play games, draw, color and do blocks.”
Lee says, “Draw, play video games, do Legos.”
Both kids struggle in school, but they like to learn.
Lee likes history.
Lee says, “I like to learn about war a lot. It’s fascinating.”
And Carly has a favorite subject too…but for a special reason.
Carly says, “I hate English even though it’s one of my favorite subjects because my teacher is a hugger.”
These siblings want to be adopted together.
Carly says, “Truly I would. If Lee moves, I move. I’m not leaving my little brother.”
