Big Spring - After two months of campaigning, Larry McLellan won the Big Spring mayoral race with about 67 percent of the vote.
With a possible cline shale oil boom on the horizon, Big Spring faces many tough decisions in the coming months and years.
One of the big infrastructure issues in Big Spring are water lines that McLellan says need to be fixed
"We really need to replace water lines I've heard over and over for many years that we're going to replace water lines but we have to systematically do this every year because these things aren't going to fix themselves," McLellan said.
Roger Rodman received 31 percent of the vote and says there is no bad blood between the two candidates
"Won fair and square. Iím satisfied the people of Big Spring have spoken," Rodman said.
