Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs and tied a career high with six RBIs as the Detroit Tigers beat the Houston Astros 17-2 last night. Houston's 8-and-23 record is the worst in the majors. Gene Sauers took a two-stroke lead in the Champions Tour's Insperity Championship. Sauers chipped in for birdie on the par-four 17th yesterday at The Woodlands Country Club, a day after making a double bogey on the hole. He finished with a six-under 66. HOUSTON (AP)
James Harden says he'll use the offseason to bond with his Houston Rockets teammates and improve. The young Rockets reached the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and battled back from a 3-0 deficit before being eliminated by Harden's old team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in Game 6.
