Medicine Take Back Program Is A Success 4/27/13
April 27, 2013
The palmer drug abuse program held another successful medicine take back today. It’s all part of their efforts to proactively reduce drug abuse in the Midland/Odessa area. By reducing the amount of unused drugs in medicine cabinets in homes across the basin, organizers say it can really make a difference.
"But if people don't properly take care of their medicine, little kids can get into the medicine not knowing if it's candy or something,” said Kim Henderson the executive director of PDAP.
PDAP says it will host another medicine take back next month. The drug abuse program offers free resources to those in the basin struggling with abuse and addiction.
