Burn Ban Adopted In Brewster County 04/05/13

BREWSTER COUNTY, TX – Brewster County commissioners have adopted to 90-day burn ban. The burning that will be permitted is cooking stoves or enclosed outdoor grills or pits fueled by propane, natural gas or wood. Also, commercial businesses may use fire for outdoor cooking or heating if the fire is screened or in a pit or ring. Anyone who violates the ban could be fined up to $500.
