A Little Warmer Today 3/27/13
Wednesday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Look for partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70’s and 80’s across West Texas. Breezy winds are expected across the area today, especially in the eastern counties. Winds will be out of the south at 15-25mph.
Even warmer temperatures are expected later in the week. Look for highs in the 70’s and 80’s through the weekend.
A slight chance of thunderstorms could develop on Friday as a dryline sharpens up across the region. However, a thick deck of clouds may limit heating. As such, the threat for storms is very conditional.
Partly cloudy skies can be expected this weekend. Winds will be noticeable but not breezy or windy.
Another chance of rain could be in the offing early next week. This is a very complex weather pattern, with a cold front moving south into the region and a strong upper level low approaching from the west. This will have to be watched closely. However, my confidence is increasing in rain chances over the area by Tuesday.
