Big Spring Could See Water Restrictions 3/26/2013
West Texas hasn't seen a lot of rain this spring and if this rainless pace continues, Big Spring could see water restrictions put in place. The restrictions would likely be on residents watering lawns, according to one city official. John Grant of the CRWMD, says that if it rains "some" then it's possible that no restrictions would go into place. Grant stresses that there are no mandatory restrictions in place now and weather patterns are constantly changing. Big Spring is currently in Phase Two of water restrictions which are voluntary restrictions on residents.
