West Texas Company Goes Through Layoffs 3/15/13
Over 100 employees will no longer have a job after the oil and gas company Wier Mesa decided to close its branch in Odessa.
Officials with the Workforce Solutions of the Permian Basin say they are on immediate standby for the employees who were laid off.
The company's headquarters are located out of Dallas.
No calls have been returned from Wier Mesa to explain why they closed their location here in West Texas.
