Fugitive Arrested in Big Spring By US Marshals 3/15/13
US Marshals have confirmed that they have arrested Jeremy Minter for violation of supervised release.
US Marshals from the San Angelo office stopped Minter in a pick up truck on the 7th street between Main and Scurry in Big Spring. Minter and two others in the vehicle were arrested. The two other's names have not been released at this time but they were arrested for possession of illegal drugs.
Minter was originally arrested for Felony possession of a firearm and let go on supervised release. While on supervised release he was arrested by law enforcement for a second possession of a firearm and released by that law enforcement agency. Following his release, US Marshals arrested for violation of his supervised release.
Minter is currently being held by the US Marshals office and the two others arrested have been turned over to the Big Spring Police Department.
