ODESSA - People had a lesson in Hebrew today. Speaker Brad Scott from Wild Branch Ministries was at the MCM Grande Hotel this morning.
Today was about helping West Texans understand Hebrew words that the English bible is translated from.
The congregation leaders say they are experiencing tremendous growth in their group.
“When we get back to the root of the language we can get a clearer and better understanding when we read them,” said Congregation Leader, Dan Johnson.
The group meets every Tuesday at their facility in 7th St. and Park Ave. in Odessa. When translated the Emet HaTorah means the Truth of the Scriptures. The congregation officially began on January 2004.
