Names Being Suggested by Community for New ECISD Elementary Schools 3/3/13

Odessa - Construction hasn't started on any of the three new ECISD elementary schools, but discussion on what to name them is off and running by people in the community.
However right now the district is focusing their attention on design concepts and land to build one of the elementary schools on.
As far as what to call the new schools, historically ECISD schools are named after war heroes, Texas politicians and famous Odessans.
Several names being suggested by people in the community include: The three OPD officers killed in the line of duty in 2007 Corporals Arlie Jones, John Gardner and Abel Marquez. Navy Seal Chris Kyle has also been suggested along with former U.S. president George W. Bush.
