PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Luke Guthrie held a one-stroke lead when they began teeing it up for today's third round of the Honda Classic at PGA National in Florida. The tour rookie fired a 7-under-par 63 yesterday to get to minus-9 for the tournament.
Michael Thompson was alone is second place after 36 holes.
Tiger Woods began the day nine strokes back after making the cut on the number and failed to make a charge. The world No. 2 carded an even-par 70.
