Kuchar Hoists Trophy at Dove Mountain 2/25/13

MARANA, Ariz. - Matt Kuchar (KOO'-chur) beat defending champion Hunter Mahan (MAY'-han) 2 and 1 in the final of the Match Play Championship. It was the first all-American final at the WGC event in five years.
Mahan was trying to join Tiger Woods as the only repeat winners of the 15-year-old tournament.
Kuchar beat Jason Day 4 and 3 in the morning semifinals just before Mahan closed out a 4 and 3 victory over Ian Poulter.
