Union Pacific Files Civil Lawsuit Against City of Midland, Midland County and Show of Support
Union Pacific Names City of Midland,Midland County and Show of Support as Responsible Third Parties 2/24/13

Midland – The city of Midland, Midland County and Show of Support are now part of the civil lawsuit stemming from the fatal train-parade float crash last November.
On February 15th, Union Pacific Railroad Company filed a motion for leave to designate the three entities as responsible third parties.
Union Pacific claims that all three parties failed to inform Union Pacific of the parade or that it would cross over the rail road crossing.
The lawsuit states that Union Pacific is not seeking money damages from the three parties, according to the Midland Reporter Telegram.
