Jal Police Searching For Man On The Run 2/18/13

Jal, NM. - Law enforcement is searching for a man who ran from The Jal Police Department. Yesterday at 3 pm Jesse Tapia ran from police and was tased. Tapia removed the prongs from the taser and assaulted a police officer. He left the Police Department and has not been found.
Tapia is 5’10’’ tall and 185 pounds. He also has a “Caliphas” tattoo on his right neck. Tapia is considered dangerous. Please contact you local law enforcement if you see him.
