Great American Cleanup Opens Registration 2/16/13

MIDLAND-Keep Midland Beautiful is now accepting applications for their annual "Great American Cleanup" day this April.
The organization has expanded the day of cleanup in and around Midland to a week-long event April 1-6.
Michelle Bermes, board member of Keep Midland Beautiful, says the event is aimed at cleaning up the city.
"It used to be just a one day event, but with the growing population comes an increase in trash all over the city," Bermes said. "This year it will be a week of cleaning."
You can sign up and choose what time and day you and a team would like to participate. You can even select a preferred cleanup location.
The organization will provide cleaning tools like bags, gloves and a vest.
