COLLEGE STATION - Kelsey Bone had 31 points and 10 rebounds last
night to help No. 11 Texas A&M beat Florida 78-71. Kristi Bellock added 13
points for the Aggies, who pulled into a tie with Tennessee for the Southeastern
Conference lead. Texas A&M has won eight games in a row.
TULSA, Okla. - Warren Niles scored 25 points last night to lead Oral
Roberts past Sam Houston State 74-64. Damen Bell-Holter added 24 points and
Korey Billbury had 13 for the Golden Eagles. James Thomas and Will Bond scored
11 points apiece for Sam Houston State.
MOSCOW, Idaho - Kevin Butler scored a career-high 23 points last night
as Texas-Arlington defeated Idaho 71-68. Brandon Edwards added 11 points for the
Mavericks, who won their third straight. Stephen Madison had 25 points and Kyle
Barone added 21 points for the Vandals.
HOUSTON - The Houston Rockets have recalled forwards Terrence Jones and
Greg Smith from the developmental league. Jones was a first-round pick by the
Rockets last year out of Kentucky. Both forwards played for the Rio Grande
Valley Vipers.
