Less Wind And Warmer Today 2/13/13
Wednesday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Expect a warmer day across the Permian Basin. Less wind will also be in the offing as high pressure settles into the region and the cold front that impacted the area yesterday moves east. Highs will top out around 60 this afternoon. Winds will be out of the west at 10-20mph.
Valentines Day will be even warmer! Look for highs in the mid to upper 60’s prior to the arrival of a cold front. The front will move into the area on Thursday night. This will bring a big drop in temperatures to the area on Friday. Highs will probably not make it out of the 40’s on Friday afternoon.
A warming trend is expected this weekend. Breezy winds will return on Sunday and Monday.
