Men Accused In Gun Trafficking and Smuggling Case Headed To Court 2/10/13

(Midland)- Two men charged in connection to a firearms smuggling and trafficking investigation will be in Federal Court Monday.
Miguel Compean, a former Odessan and Brian Connell of Odessa will go before a judge in Midland.
The pair, along with Michelle Compean are accused of conspiring to purchase more than 100 firearms, including AK-47 style rifles and pistols from dealers in Odessa, Dallas, Fort Worth, Brenham and Mesquite.
Officials believe the guns were then headed to Mexico.
A trial date has not been set yet.
