Champions Tour: Langer Neck and Neck with Pernice 2/9/13

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Bernhard Langer (LAHN'-gur) and Tom Pernice Jr. were tied for the lead heading into the second round of the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton, Florida. Langer birdied three of the last four holes for a 6-under-par 66. Defending champion Corey Pavin, Roger Chapman, Fred Funk and Scott Simpson are a shot back, as are Rocco Mediate and Bart Bryant in the Champions Tour debuts.
It's the first full-field event of the year for golf's 50-and-over circuit.

Nuggets cruise into Cleveland
UNDATED (AP) - The Nuggets have had a hot hand of late and will be hunting a ninth straight win this evening when they take on the lowly Cavaliers in Cleveland. At 32-18, Denver sits fourth in the Western Conference race. The Cavs' 15-34 record is good for 12th place in the East.
Also tonight, league doormat Charlotte is at Philadelphia, Dallas hosts Golden State, Detroit plays at Milwaukee and Sacramento is home to Utah.
