Comanche Pond Fishing Event for Families, No License Required 2/9/13

Odessa-The City of Odessa is hosting it's annual "Take Me Fishing" day today at Comanche Pond in Odessa.
The day is geared towards kids and teens 16 and under. It's today from 10:00 until 2:00 p.m. The City of Odessa says no fishing license is needed to fish during the event.
After the event is over, you can continue to fish but anyone over 17 will need a license.
"Parents are encouraged to bring their kids, poles and supplies to enjoy the fun of fishing," according to The City of Odessa news release. "There will be free giveaways and prizes."
