Odessa Officer Involved in Woman's Unlawful Arrest Resigns 2/8/13

ODESSA, TX - An Odessa police officer involved in the unlawful arrest of 37-year-old Dynique Pryor resigned from his position.
Corporal Omero Carrasco is seen in Pryor’s cell phone video arresting her for failure to identify. OPD later determined through help from Pryor’s video that she was innocent.
Carrasco resigned in December 2012 and the incident happened on March 13th 2012.
OPD did not confirm if Carrasco resigned directly in connection with the wrongful arrest.
