Odessa - In less than 24 hours, the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49'ers will kick off Superbowl 47 in New Orleans.
People around the basin spent the day getting ready for the big game.

CBS 7 spent the day talking to people about what they plan on doing for the Superbowl.

Every single person we spoke to said they're staying home to enjoy the game with friends and family.

It's the day before the big game and while both teams are getting ready, so are people on the other side of television.

"We're going to have a big Superbowl party," one 49’ers fan said.

People spent the day doing some last minute shopping for their Superbowl parties.

"We need hot dogs, sausage, burgers, chips," Cameron Stinnet and Rene Ruiz, both Ravens fans said.

The shopping didn't just stop at the grocery store, Best Buy has had a busy Superbowl Eve as well.

"We have a lot of people coming buying tv’s left and right," Jeremy Linsford, Best Buy of Odessa manager said.

As we get closer to kick off, fans are ready for a day filled with football, family and friends.

"I actually play for the west Texas Drillers so I'm going to have my teammates over and we're all going to celebrate the American holiday," Jerry Zachary, 49’ers fan said.

"We’re going to BBQ, have friends over and enjoy the day," Kristen Chavez, 49’ers fan said.

"Cook some food and drink some cold drinks," Josh Lopez, Ravens fan said.

They say no matter who goes home with the Lombardi Trophy, Superbowl 47 will be one to remember.

Kick off is set for 5:30 tomorrow afternoon right here on CBS7. Be sure to tune in.
