Midland Spill Causes Detours Along Loop 1/23/13

(Midland)- A frac truck leaking diesel fuel caused quite a mess Wednesday night in north Midland.
According to Pat Repman with the Midland Fire Department, the truck had a hose come lose, leaking diesel.
It started at Loop 250 and Fairgrounds, and continued until someone stopped the truck on Highway 349 near Midland Country Club.
The driver of the truck was not aware the truck was leaking.
Tx DOT officials assisted by sanding the spill areas.
Traffic was detoured at the Loop and 349. but they expect the Loop to be open soon.
