MARTIN CO, TX – The Martin County Sheriff’s Department says a shortage on ammunition could threaten potential training efforts.
With a possible crack down on gun sales, gun enthusiasts are flocking to gun shops buying out weapons and clearing shelves of ammunition.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Department says they are stocked up on ammunition, but not at the level they would like to be.
They say it’s becoming scarce to find the ammunition they use frequently. Normally their bullets cost 20 cents per round; now the price has jumped to $1.00 per round.
