MIDLAND- The sound of riffles also echoed in the air today at the 3rd annual Lee High Rebels softball team’s “Polar Bear Clay Shoot.”
Nearly one hundred people helped the team raised funds for their softball program.
Participants also signed up for a riffle and gun raffle. Organizers say it was a way to raise funds, but more importantly to have fun with the community.
"It's been great for our program. It's been a great way for us to do a lot of things for our program for our field and we love it and it’s been a lot of fun. We all have fun."
The students, staff and participants raised the funds and enjoyed being out in the sunny weather.
