(Odessa)- Sheriff’s officers responded to 518 W. 46th street approximately 3:35 a.m. Wednesday regarding a structure fire.
Further investigation led officers to believe arson was a factor.
A sofa that was outside the residence and in front of a garage was set on fire and as a result, damaged the exterior of the garage door and the front eve of the residence.
There was subsequent damage to one vehicle parked near the couch as well as minor damage to a second vehicle.
A description of the suspect believed to have set the fire is described as follows:
White / Hispanic Male
Early 30’s
Over 6 foot tall
Thin build
Very thin mustache
Shaved head
Hazel Eyes
No Spanish accent.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
