Oklahoma Routs Texas Tech 81-63 1/17/13

Associated Press
January 17, 2013

NORMAN, Okla. - Romero Osby scored 17 points, all but two in the second
half, and Oklahoma extended its winning streak to five games, beating Texas Tech
81-63 on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma (12-3, 3-0) remained tied atop the Big 12 with No. 4 Kansas and No.
16 Kansas State. The winning streak matches the longest for the Sooners under
second-year coach Lon Kruger.

The Sooners have won seven of their last eight games in Norman against Texas
Tech (8-7, 1-3). Dejan Kravic scored 20 points for the Red Raiders, who have
lost three straight games after opening conference play by winning at TCU.

Osby and Buddy Hield combined to score all of the Sooners' 21 points in the
first seven minutes of the second half, allowing Oklahoma to stretch a
five-point halftime lead to 13 points with 13:22 left. Texas Tech came no closer
than six points after that.
