Midland Youth Advisory Council in the Works 12/9/12

Midland - The Midland City Council is searching for a group of young people who can offer suggestions to the council.

The Midland Youth Advisory Council is a new student group that focuses on issues facing the youth.

Membership is open to local junior high and high school students.

Those who are interested can pick up applications through their school counselors.
You can receive applications from Mike Mills Director of Communities in schools at Midland High and Lee High Schools.

You can also receive applications from the youth advisory sponsor at Trinity School, Kerri George, and Dean of Students at Trinity School Jeff Young.

At Midland Christian School you can pick up applications from the counselor, Mrs. Weaver.

The last day to turn in your application at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center is December 21, 2012.

An informational meeting will be held this Tuesday at the MLK Jr. Community Center at 7pm.

Students and parents are encouraged to attend.
