Over 300 Children from Low-Income Families Receive Christmas Presents 12/8/12

Odessa - Santa Claus paid a visit to some very deserving boys and girls this afternoon..
Hundreds of presents were waiting for children of low-income families at the Odessa Christian Faith Center.
It was all for the KIDZ Christmas Celebration.
Organizers of the event say this event is all about making special Christmas memories for the kids.
"They light up. Reality is they may not get Christmas this year. They come from single parent families or live with grandma who may not be able to afford presents. Watching them get this present is exciting," Elton Emiliano, the children’s minister with the Odessa Christian Faith Center said.
Over 300 children received presents.
Organizers say they have been planning the event since April.
