Hazmat crews were busy in Gardendale after more than 10 barrels of oil spewed out of a well site.
It happened just before 10:00 pm Tuesday night at Alfalfa and Goldenrod.
According to the Ector County Sheriff's Office, a faulty hose caused the well to spew out more than 10 barrels of oil.
Deputies tell us the well is operated by Berry Petroleum, the same company that has been battling residents in Gardendale over drilling in the community.
Vacuum trucks were on the scene to clean up the mess.
The Texas Railroad Commission is investigating.
