The City of Midland Animal Services Division would like to give pet owners a chance to give their pets a gift this Christmas. From 4:30 - 7 PM on Tuesday, December 11, Animal Services will host a rabies vaccination and microchip clinic. The event will be held at the Midland Animal Shelter which is located at 1200 N Fairgrounds Rd. $20 will get your pet a rabies vaccination, a city or county license and a microchip. For an additional $10 you can purchase a distemper/parvo vaccination for your dog as well. Payment must be in cash, all dogs will be required to be on a leash or in a pet carrier, and any cats will need to be in a pet carrier.

We also would like to give potential pet owners a gift this Christmas. The City of Midland Animal Services Division will be waiving adoption fees from December 10 - 31. Adopters will still be required to pay $22 for a rabies vaccination and a city license.
