PERMIAN BASIN, TX - Job growth continues to take place across the Permian Basin. A new report by the Permian Basin region planning commission shows that hundreds of jobs are being created each month. Odessa saw a increase of 600 jobs from September to October and Midland saw an increase of 800 jobs.
The categories seeing the biggest increase in employment are mining, logging and construction, education and health services and leisure and hospitality.
