Developing News: Woman Climbs Martin County Radio Tower with Hand Gun 10/14/12
Martin County Sheriff's Office tells CBS 7 that the woman is now on the ground unharmed and in their custody for a medical examination.
They tell us that this is not the first time the woman has climbed the cell phone tower.
The woman's name has not been released.
UPDATE 7:11 PM
TxDOT reports BI20 is now open and the situation has been handled.
Our crews on the scene say it appears the subject has climbed down from the tower.
We have not been able to get this confirmed from law enforcement.

TxDOT has closed BI20 thru Stanton from IH20 east to SH137.
Martin County Sheriff's Office tell CBS 7 that Midland Police are on their way to assist.

Stanton – The Martin County Sheriff's Office has confirmed with CBS 7 that a woman has climbed a radio tower in Stanton. They also tell us that she is in possession of a handgun.
Martin Co. Sheriff deputies are on the scene.
We have crews enroute to the scene.
