Midland “Night Of Heroes” Showcases Olympian 10/13/12

BIG SPRING, TX - It was a “Night of Heroes” at the Midland Center this evening.
The event featured an Olympic hero who shared her personal story as a way to reach out to the community.
Olympic bronze medalist Marlen Esparza was invited to the family friendly event.
Esparza says she enjoys being an influence to the children. She says she grew up being told no and now her goal is to reach out and encourage the youth.
