GRANDFALLS, TX - Veterans gather at the Ward County Veterans Memorial Park in Grandfalls to honor those who served our country.
New names of veterans are being added to the stone, small trees were sold and planted, and brand new BBQ pits were installed all in memory of their local heroes.
City officials say 99 percent of the veterans listed on the stone are from Grandfalls, TX .
