Ector County Health Department: People Still Illegally Dumping Behind Goodwill 11/9/11

The Ector County Health Department tells CBS 7 they are still seeing people illegally dumping on 42nd Street and Dixie Boulevard behind the Goodwill. The county has put more law enforcement in that area to try and prevent more illegal dumping.
Here's a look at the violations for non-commercial illegal dumping:
If the trash is 5 pounds or less, it’s a class C misdemeanor with a fine up to $500.
If it's up to 500 pounds, it’s a class B misdemeanor with up to 6 months in jail and up to a $2,000 fine.
If it's up to 1000 pounds, it's a class A misdemeanor with up 1 year behind bars, and up to $4,000in fines.
If the illegal dumping is more than 1,000 pounds, it's a state jail felony with over 1 year in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
