Big Spring Man Authors, Signs Book About 2009 Howard College National Champion Baseball Team 7/15/10

A Big Spring man just authored a book about the 2009 Howard College National Champion Baseball team and was signing it Thursday morning.
Bill Scott's book is called "63-1, The Greatest Season in the History of Baseball".
The Hawks broke all sorts of college baseball records that season en route to the national junior college title including a 57 game winning streak, the longest at any level of college baseball including NCAA Division I.
The book is not just a recap of the season but the stories behind the team.
Scott says the proceeds also will go to a very worthy cause.
"I have a website ministry, it's called www.manna-festations.com and I deal with suicidals. I put videos on Godtube and Youtube and I [have] people email me... from all over the world and they have problems with suicide or somebody who has committed suicide and I get help to them."
Scott adds he has had requests from groups across the country for the book.
