NEW YORK - Monday night was the 2017 College Football Hall of Fame ceremony in New York were names like Peyton Manning, Steve Spurrier and Marshall Faulk - to name a few- where inducted as the 2017 class.
One of this year's members was also a former Crane Golden Crane.
Bob McKay was a standout athlete in numerous sports at Crane High School in the mid-1960's.
He went on to become an All-American offensive lineman at the University of Texas where he helped lead the Longhorns to the 1969 National Championship.
The former Golden Crane was also a first round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, and he played for the New England Patriots.
