BREWSTER COUNTY -- TxDOT crews were working overnight and into the morning to keep drivers safe in Brewster County as snow and ice began to form on the roads.

According to officials, 15 TxDOT crews have been out and about treating roads with brine.
Several of the crews have already worked 12 hour shifts.
Officials say that they received help from crews coming out of Presidio and Terlingua.
Anyone planning on driving today is urged to be careful and be on the lookout for black ice on the roadway.
