Police no longer searching for subjects in hoverboard case

ODESSA -- UPDATE: Odessa police say that they are no longer searching for the subjects involved.

Odessa police are searching for two men who were caught on camera stealing a hoverboard.

According to the Odessa Police Department, their officers responded to Music City Mall on Sunday, February 4 for a call of a theft.

An investigation revealed that a man went to the Variety Store with five counterfeit fifty-dollar bills.

The man gave the bills to the cashier to buy a hoverboard. As the cashier tried to find out if the bills were real or not the man left the store with the board in his possession.

He was then seen being picked up by another suspect in a black Ford F-250.
