ECTOR COUNTY - A driver was ejected after his truck rolled on I-20 Friday morning.
According to DPS Trooper Whaples, the crash happened on I-20 near mile marker 100 in Ector County at 7 a.m.
A cement hauler was driving in the westbound lanes when one of its tires blew out, causing the driver to over-correct. The truck then flipped and rolled into the eastbound lanes.
DPS reports that the driver was then ejected ans suffered a broken leg, bruised ribs and a laceration to the head, though he is expected to be okay.
No other crashes were reported.
Traffic is expected to the return to normal after TxDOT crews clear the scene.
