ODESSA -- Two suspects have been arrested after police say they tased and robbed a woman who they met over a dating app.

Keith Ellis, 39, and Jessica Dutch, 39, have been charged and arrested for Aggravated Robbery, a 1st Degree Felony.

According to the Odessa Police Department, their officers responded to the 7000 block of Tes Hermanas early Friday morning for a call of a threat.

When police arrived on scene they met with a 37-year-old woman.

The woman told police that she had tried buying marijuana from a person she met on a dating site.

When she heard a knock on her hotel door she opened it, and was tased by a man, identified as Ellis.

Ellis then allegedly began choking the victim and held a knife to her throat while threatening to kill her. That was when a woman, identified as Dutch, reportedly walked in the room and took the victim's cell phone.

Both Ellis and Dutch then left the scene.

Police were able to see injuries on the victim's neck, face, and both of her hands.

According to OPD, an investigation of the case identified both of the suspects as Ellis and Dutch.

Arrest warrants were then obtained for both and they were charged and arrested accordingly.
