New Odessa Chick-fil-A to offer year of free meals to first 100 customers

ODESSA -- Odessa will soon be getting its second Chick-fil-A location and 100 customers will be receiving a year-long reward.

The new location, which can be found at 106 East University Boulevard has its grand opening set for May 24.

A day before that the restaurant will be holding a 'First 100' party starting at 6 a.m. When the line officially opens, a drawing will be held to randomly select the First 100. Those chosen must camp out at the location until the grand opening to secure their spot.

The 'winners' will be given a digital offer card granting them a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals.

Only adults will be allowed to enter the contest. You can find more on the rules here.

Nate Saxton, a native Texan, is the franchise owner of the new location. According to a release, the restaurant could provide up to 120 new jobs.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives,” Saxton said. “From my team members to my guests, I want to make a positive impact on people and follow in the footsteps of Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy”

During the restaurant's opening week Saxton will be holding a children's book drive. New and gently used children's books will be accepted.
