Police: 15-year-old arrested after robbing Midland McDonald's

MIDLAND -- Police say a 15-year-old girl who robbed a Midland McDonald's has been arrested.

According to the Midland Police Department, their officers responded to a robbery call at the McDonald's at 1111 Andrews Highway at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

The suspect, first described as a white female in her 20's, went through the drive-thru displaying a weapon and demanding money.

She then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At around 6:22 p.m., the car used by the suspect was spotted in the 2500 block of Haynes. The driver proceeded to evade officers before being caught and identified as a 15-year-old girl.

She was then charged and arrested.
