Man gets 55 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine

ECTOR COUNTY -- An Ector County man was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

Nicholas Howell was sentenced to 55 years in prison on Tuesday June 12.

According to Attorney Bobby Bland, the charge was enhanced due to several previous felony convictions.

Assistant District Attorney William Prasher prosecuted the case and Adrian Chavez represented the defendant.
