MIDLAND -- According to a release, The high school staff at Opal’s Table will be taking over the kitchen on Monday, August 14th for a fundraiser benefiting the Midland High Culinary Program!
The release states the following:
Young Chef Showcase will feature the students who work at Opal’s Table and Hight Foods.
Their five course menu includes: Amuse Bouche, Shrimp Bisque & Local Vegetable Garnish, Roasted Cornish Game Hen & Local Vegetables, Heritage Duroc Pork Tamale with Green Tomato Salsa, and West Texas Peanut Mousse with Chocolate. Dinner and wine are included in the ticket price.
The dinner is on August 14th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person and are available online at opalstable.com/events.
Since opening in February 2017, Opal’s Table has increased their hours to include lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, weekday happy hour, and brunch on Sunday.
