FORT STOCKTON -- At least four Texas counties are experiencing AT&T outages for phone, internet, and, even 9-1-1 phone services.
The Brewster County Emergency Management says that 9-1-1 is down.
The Fort Stockton Police Department posted on their Facebook page that their 9-1-1 calls are being redirected to Upton County during the outage.
Now, you will remember that this is the second time in a month that outages have occurred in Fort Stockton.
AT&T told Fort Stockton Police that this is caused by a fiber optic line being cut.
No word on how long it will take to repair the damage.
This is not the first time that AT&T outages have affected 9-1-1 services, last month an AT&T outage affected law enforcement across the country.
An FCC investigation found that AT&T was at fault.
