Enjoy the unseasonably warm temperatures Monday because winter chill is on the way. It will be temperature roller coaster as the mercury rises into the mid to upper 70's Monday afternoon with mostly sunny skies. the drop on Tuesday. In \fact the weather will be a totally different story on early Tuesday as a strong cold front will arrive early in the morning hours and will bring clouds...gusty winds and temperatures that will struggle to get above 50 degrees. On Wednesday...a passing upper level disturbance will combine with the cold and some moisture to bring some rain..changing to snow for parts of West Texas. Snow is possible from the Permian Basin south into the Davis mountains and lower Trans-Pecos. It looks like areas in the mountains and lower Trans-Pecos could see up to 1 to 2 inches of snow with just a light dusting possible for the Permian Basin.
